The factory JK tie rod is a vulnerable steering component once larger tires and harder trails enter the picture. TeraFlex's heavy-duty chromoly tie rod replaces it with a substantial 4140 heat-treated steel assembly and adjustable-preload joints made to resist bending and maintain crisp steering response.

1-5/8-inch outer-diameter, heat-treated 4140 chromoly tie rod, advertised as more than 200% stronger than stock.
Forged end housings with 4140 chromoly ball studs and 1045 steel joint housings.
Serviceable, adjustable joint preload and snap-ring-retained rod ends.
Steering stabilizer relocation bracket raises the stabilizer approximately 2.5 inches for better protection.
Kit includes tie rod assembly, relocation bracket and mounting hardware; fits factory 17-inch wheel clearance.

Fitment & Installation

2007–2018 JK Wrangler two-door and four-door, Dana 30 or Dana 44 front axle, 0–6-inch lift. The included stabilizer relocation bracket is NOT compatible with Falcon Nexus EF stabilizers without the specific 1-5/8-inch clamp kit. Verify drag-link and steering-geometry requirements on taller lifts.
