About Dirt King

Dirt King builds off-road suspension and chassis parts for trucks that are actually being used hard, with a catalog that ranges from upper control arms and shocks to long-travel kits, bump stops, bypass systems and fabricated bumpers.

Their lineup covers platforms like the Tacoma, 4Runner, Tundra, F-150, Raptor, Silverado, Sierra, Colorado and Ram, with options ranging from relatively simple front-end upgrades to complete desert-style suspension systems.

Why We Like Dirt King at 9AM

We like Dirt King because there is a clear path through the catalog as the truck gets more serious.

You can start with control arms and better shocks, then move into long travel, bypasses and bump stops when you actually need more suspension travel and control. Their parts also tend to be serviceable and built around common performance shock brands, which makes it easier to keep developing the truck instead of replacing the whole setup every time the build changes.

 Popular Dirt King Upgrades

Upper Control Arms

Upper control arms are one of the most practical places to start on a lifted truck. The Dirt King Boxed Upper Control Arms for 2007-2013 Silverado / Sierra 1500 add articulation and alignment range while keeping stock track width, while the Heim Upper Control Arms for 2010-2020 Ford Raptor are aimed at a more aggressive off-road setup.

Long Travel Kits

Long travel is where Dirt King really starts to separate itself from a basic lift-kit brand. The 2019-2025 Silverado / Sierra 1500 Long Travel Kit provides up to 13 inches of travel, while the 1999-2006 Silverado / Sierra Long Travel Race Kit takes things much further with up to 17.5 inches of travel and provisions for coilovers, bypasses and bump stops.

Long Travel Coilovers

Once the control arms change, the shocks need to match the suspension geometry. The Toyota Long Travel Spec Coilovers are tuned specifically around Dirt King's Toyota long-travel system, while the FOX Long Travel Spec Coilovers for Tacoma / 4Runner / FJ Cruiser give you another matched option for the same platforms.

Bump Stops

Hydraulic bump stops start making sense once the truck is using enough suspension travel that controlling the last part of compression matters. The King Bump Stops available through Dirt King are designed to soften harsh bottom-out events and help control the suspension at the end of its travel.

Bypass & Supporting Hardware

For more serious builds, Dirt King also offers bypass shock hoops, reservoir mounts, axle components and other supporting hardware that lets you build the suspension as a complete system instead of treating every part independently.
