DC Sports

DC Sports has roots in the early sport compact scene, with a history closely tied to Honda and Acura performance. Founded by Darrell and Darrick Contreras, the company developed a 4-into-1 header for American Honda’s SCCA-prepped CRX race cars in 1987. That project helped establish the brand, and its headers became a familiar part of Honda builds throughout the 1990s.

Headers remain a major part of the DC Sports lineup, alongside exhaust systems, cold air and short ram intakes, and chassis braces. Their applications have expanded beyond Honda and Acura to include other platforms, such as the Nissan 350Z and 370Z. Depending on the application, their headers are available in polished stainless steel or a ceramic-coated finish.

The catalog also reflects how people continue to build these cars today. Alongside headers for original engine configurations, DC Sports offers K-swap headers for EG and EK Civics and DC Integras. That keeps the brand relevant to both owners maintaining an older setup and builders putting together something different.
