About Trailrax

TrailRax builds modular roof racks and external storage systems for off-road and overland vehicles, with a strong focus on making it easier to carry gear without filling the interior.

Their systems are designed around modular crossbars, side panels and add-on storage, so you can start with the rack itself and build outward as your trips and gear needs change.

Why We Like TrailRax at 9AM

We like TrailRax because their products are built around actually using the vehicle.

A good rack should give you more places to carry gear, make that gear easier to access, and leave room to change the setup later. TrailRax does that well, especially with systems that let you add side-mounted storage or lighting without starting over with a completely different rack.

 Popular Trailrax Upgrades

Bronco Roof Racks

The TrailRax Modular Roof Rack for the Ford Bronco 2-Door gives Bronco owners a full-length modular rack with side-panel mounting and compatibility with TrailRax Pak Rax storage. It is a good starting point if you want to build the roof around camping gear, tools, recovery equipment or lighting.

Bronco Sport Roof Racks

For the smaller Bronco Sport, the TrailRax Modular Roof Rack gives you a bolt-on rack that uses the factory roof rails and keeps the setup modular for future accessories.

Jeep Pak Rax Storage

For Wrangler owners who need more external storage, the Pak Rax Kit for Jeep JL adds side-mounted carrying capacity without pushing gear beyond the width of the mirrors. The Pak Rax Kit for Jeep JK gives earlier Wrangler owners the same general idea.

Modular Gear Carrying

One of the biggest strengths of the TrailRax system is that you can build it around the gear you actually carry. Fuel, water, recovery equipment, camp gear and tools can all be moved outside the cabin, which keeps the interior less cluttered and easier to use on longer trips.
