HKS S Type Pro Oil Cooler Kit - Scion FR-S/ Subaru BRZ
Engine oil coolers are small radiators placed in front or around the coolant system on an automobile and lower the temperature of the oil as it passes through the coils. It is only operational when the motor is running. Lowering the temperature of engine oil has many advantages, especially in air-cooled motors. One can stay out on the track longer, Oil temperatures will remain at a safe temperature, and probably one of the most important advantage is that the oil will retain better friction reducing properties during heavy use.
This HKS S Type Pro Oil Cooler Kit includes all the necessary parts so it can be installed into a Toyota GT-86, Scion FR-S, or Subaru BRZ. The kit has been designed to be future-proof as it will also work flawlessly with turbocharged or supercharged set ups.

Results: The oil temperature of a vehicle without the oil cooler reached 130 degrees in the fifth minute; the vehicle had to be stopped to cool the oil temperature down. The oil temperature of a vehicle with HKS Oil Cooler was maintained around 105 degrees through the test.
