About Toyota

Toyota has a following in both Japanese performance cars and off-road trucks. The Supra and 86 appeal to people interested in tuning and handling, while the Tacoma, 4Runner, and Land Cruiser have built communities around trail use, camping, and travel. Lexus GX models bring another closely related platform into that off-road mix.

The Supra’s origins are a detail worth knowing. Before it became a separate model, it arrived in the United States for 1979 as the Celica Supra, an upscale development of the Celica with an inline-six engine. The connection between those two names came well before the turbocharged Supras that many enthusiasts picture today.

Our Toyota collection reflects that range of interests, covering supported Toyota and Lexus applications with suspension, powertrain, lighting, chassis, and exterior parts. A GR86 and a loaded 4Runner need very different components, but both have owners who care about getting the details right.

Why We Like Toyota At 9AM:

We like that Toyota brings the sports-car and off-road communities into the same conversation. There’s room for a carefully set-up coupe and a truck packed for a camping trip. That fits 9AM because we’re interested in both, and we enjoy seeing the thought people put into either kind of build.

Popular Toyota Upgrades

Toyota upgrades span everything from suspension changes on an 86 to equipment for a Tacoma camping setup. Choosing by platform and intended use makes more sense than treating them all as the same kind of build.

Truck and SUV Suspension
Shocks, springs, leveling components, and upper control arms are common upgrades for Tacoma, 4Runner, and related off-road platforms. Added bumpers, racks, and camping equipment affect the weight the suspension carries, so the complete setup matters as much as the desired ride height.

Sports-Car Suspension and Chassis
On 86 and Supra platforms, coilovers, adjustable arms, bushings, and bracing provide options for suspension tuning and alignment. A comfortable daily driver and a car running regular track sessions may need different settings and components.

Intake, Exhaust, and Engine Components
These parts range from intake and exhaust changes to components for more involved engine builds. Toyota’s different generations use very different engines, so matching the part to the exact application is essential. Sound, fitment, and tuning requirements are worth considering alongside any performance goal.

Lighting, Protection, and Carrying Gear
Lighting, bumpers, racks, and recovery equipment are familiar additions to Toyota truck and SUV builds. The useful combination depends on where the vehicle goes, what it carries, and how much equipment needs to stay installed between trips.

Wheels and Interior Details
Wheel fitment, seating position, shifter feel, and control placement help finish a build around its driver. These choices can be just as noticeable in everyday use as the larger mechanical upgrades.
