About Racing & Performance Seats
Seats can completely change how a car feels from behind the wheel.
A good performance seat keeps you supported so you're not bracing yourself through every corner, but the right choice depends heavily on how the car is actually used. A dedicated drift or track car can justify a much more aggressive fixed-back seat than something that still spends hours on the freeway.
Fitment matters too. Seat width, bolster shape, mounting position, harness compatibility and even how easy it is to get in and out of the car should all be considered before choosing a seat.
Why We Like Performance Seats at 9AM
We like seats because they change something you notice every single time you drive.
The right seat can improve your driving position and keep you planted when the car starts moving around, but we don't think every enthusiast car needs the most aggressive race seat available. Comfort matters, especially if you actually drive the car outside of events.
Pick the seat around the driver and the way the car gets used, not just how it looks in photos.
