Intake

The intake system supplies filtered air to the engine. Our collection includes replacement air filters and intake systems, along with intercoolers and piping for supported boosted applications. These parts work at different points along the air path, so they don’t all serve the same purpose.

An intake system can change the filter housing, inlet location, and tubing leading toward the engine or turbocharger. Enclosed airboxes and exposed-filter designs take different approaches to packaging and sound. Heat shielding, filter placement, and sensor provisions are all part of the design, beyond the diameter of the pipe.

Intercoolers handle another job: removing heat from compressed intake air before it reaches the engine. The connecting piping has to fit the vehicle and the rest of the system. Results from any intake-related change depend on the application, existing restrictions, and calibration requirements.
